SCM invested with experienced land developers to entitle lots for Manufactured Home Communities (“MHC”) in two exploding submarkets outside of Dallas and Houston. The investments include the acquisitions and entitlements 299 acres of land near Dallas and 255 acres near Houston.

We have been actively looking to expand our footprint in Texas for years and we think that this is a great opportunity that offers a meaningful return on capital with downside protection and multiple exit scenarios.
